Tom Brady Injured

By Scott Burgess

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady was seen, on Mon, Jan 21, wearing some sort of foot cast or brace. He was visiting his girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen, in enemy territory, New York, when TMZ.com caught the superstar limping and wearing the brace. See picture below.

On his weekly radio show he stated "Ah, you know, there's always bumps and bruises. I'll be ready for the Super Bowl. I'm not worried about that. I'm not missing this one. I'd have to be on a stretcher to miss this one. There will be treatment this week. In games like this, you get a little nicked up. It's nothing serious."

For anyone who has suffered a injury, or had to wear some sort of brace, your muscles are limited thus causing the muscles to not have to work as much. If he wears this this brace for a week or more his muscles will start to go into atrophy. The definition of atrophy is the shrinking in size of some part or organ of the body, usually caused by injury, disease, or lack of use. The longer he keeps this brace on the weaker his foot will get.

Now, will this benefit the N.Y. Giants? I say YES! The main target for the Giants defense will be Brady's right foot. I know it sounds dirty, but you have to do whatever it takes to win the Super Bowl. If someone can do damage to his foot in a pile up and knock him out of the game, it may be over for the Patriots.
